- The Remote Control kit is designed to control all of your A/V equipment and room lighting from one remote. The kit contains Teleport™; our combination IR / Z-Wave® remote control. With Teleport™ you can control up to 4 pieces of AV gear such as TV's, VCR's, DVD, cable/ Satellite receivers and up to 230 Home Control modules. Up to 20 scenes can be created with Teleport™.
- A scene is a grouping of modules which are commanded to turn on, off, dim, etc. Turning all the lights on is an example of a scene. Dimming two lights to 50% is also a scene.
- In addition, the Remote Control Kit contains an In-Wall Dimmer switch and a Lamp Module. The light switch replaces an existing switch in your home. After installation, you can operate the switch just like any other dimmer in your home. Thanks to Z-Wave® you will also be able to control the switch remotely with Teleport™ or any Z-Wave enabled controller.
